How do I Add / Delete Users ?
About Users and Registrations
After you have subscribed to your Rapidstart Forecast Subscription you are allocated the number of users in your subscription request. The following user types will depend on your subscription purchase.
- Primary Administrator - There is only 1 Primary Administrator and must exist. It is allocated to whoever is specified when the subscription commences.
- Administrator - You can have multiple Administrators in addition to the Primary Administrator. and such users have access to all the Administrator functions except for User Management which can only be managed by the Primary Administrator
- Standard User - Standard users can be given access for viewing, inputting or modifying budget and forecast data. Only those areas relevant to their usage are available to them after you have allocated access.
Adding a New User
The Primary Administrator is the only user who can manage the users for Rapidstart Forecast. The Primary Administrator can make the following changes:
- You can add a new user (provided your subscription has enough users licensed).
If you need to increase your number of users contact us and request additional users as required. - You can delete an existing user to free up the user license and allocate to a new user. If you delete an existing users licence they will no longer have access to the system.
To access the user list, as Primary Administrator simply click the Manage Users option from the icon in the top right corner of the window:
This should then display the list of users similar to the example below:

- To delete a user's access click the trash can icon displayed to the right. Note that deleting a user's access does not delete the user's registered id, but removes the user from this subscription.
- To modify a user's First Name and/or Last Name and/or change their Type, select the edit icon displayed to the right. You will then be able to modify the name fields and if required switch a users type to an Administrator if they are currently a Standard user, or vice versa. Notice also that when giving a user Administrator rights you can also choose either a standard administrator or an administrator who does not have access to payroll components.
You can only allocate as many users of each category that you have subscribed to (see the bottom right hand corner of the Manage Users window - the example displayed, we have allocated 5 out of 10 standard users we have licensed and 1 out of 2 administrator users we have licensed. - To invite a new user who does not have current access to your subscription, go the Invite User option at the lower part of the screen. You will need to enter in their email address and choose whether you wish to allocate either a standard user access or administrator user access or administrator with no payroll access.
Once you have entered the users email address and selected user type, just click the 'Invite user' button and wait till the system advises you that the user has been invited. The user should receive an email with a URL link provided that they can click to provide their password details (as well as their first name and surname) to register their login. This link is available for 24 hours only.
Note: If for any reason the user does not respond to the email within 24 hours, they can simply go to the login screen (https://go.rsforecast.com) and select the 'Forgot Password' option to set their password. Until a password has been created by the user they will not be able to access the system. (see video option for users here)
